The Chillout is a 10 minute drive to Tarsier Botanika and a 15 minute drive to Bohol Bee Farm. Tagbilaran City Airport is only a 25 minute drive away.

Hi There! How many minutes walk to alona beach and how much cost shuttle to airport? Thank you! How far drive to chocolate hills?

Its around 10 to 15 minutes walk to the Alona beach. Trike to airport 200php/Car 300 php. Drive to Chocolate hills [ 1hr and 20mins with car]

What was the highlight of Chillout Guesthouse

Chilled place away from the main hub.

Quiet area away from the main area. Nice breakfast area and only o think 4 rooms so not too busy. Lots of restaurants , bars and tour operators and shops in the town.

It was a 20 minute walk from the beach ( although they did a free shuttle survice in the evening). You could hear people walking upstairs and hear them talking. Alona is not the best beach as low tide means you can't swim unless you are willing to swim in sea weed.

Great place to stay!

The bed was really nice and soft, and the view from the balcony on the garden is great!

The room had thin walls, so it was a bit noisy. But nothing some earplugs can't fix.

What was the highlight of Chillout Guesthouse

Perfect stay for a backpacker!

Lovely little room, a little out of the main area but they do provide tricycles at night which is nice! Our air con didn't work for a while but the staff got that sorted! Would recommend as it's good value for the money! Wifi works really well also and the food is great!

Shower was a little pain but that's it!

Chill out traditionally, with a little noise

The guys at Chill Out are all super lovely and very helpful with anything you need. There’s someone in security manning the desk all night too if you need anything. Walk to Alona Beach is around 10 minutes and straightforward where there’s loads of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Equally, a good selection of very affordable food at Chill Out.

Only issue for us was our lovely hut had zero soundproofing so the dogs barking and roosters crowing, both loud and there’s construction very nearby that starts very early. Not Chill Outs fault but maybe be aware. Hopefully those builds will finish quickly!

Beautiful and relaxing place

Welcome drink upon check in, which was a nice touch. Beautiful setting, nice garden, very friendly staff, comfortable room (Olive), great balcony with nice view over the garden, good wifi, free tricycle ride to and from Alona beach in the evening. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.

We liked everything, except one minor thing (old toilet seat that could do with replacement).

The staff was helpfull and nice.

The staff was helpfull and nice. The place could be so amazing if they just do some improvements in the buildings , the garden is so nice and well maintened. And they have good dishes. Great the thing that in the evening trycicle are free from there. Walking distance from Alona Beach. Comfortable bed and AC.

The surrounding area was so noisy, dogs, people, building site working from sunrise, of course it's not the facility fault but the private bungalow has absolutely no soundproofing walls or a real ceeling. The bathroom was way too basic and there was no good pressure in water and was really smelly in evening hours. The bed headboard was really dusty. Wifi was unstable.

What was the highlight of Chillout Guesthouse

Place is nice and authentic.

Place is nice and authentic. With the nice balcony and sitting places. It was quite quiet but we stayed there for one night only. We booked the Balicasag tour offered by the hotel and they were nice enough to let us shower in a common shower after the tour as we returned after the check out time. We asked forthe tour lasy minute and the staff gave several calls to find the free spot for us. Also staff arranged our laundry and put an extra effort to shorten the standard 24 hour as we were in a hurry.

It was quite difficult to find the place.

The hotel is walking distance from Alona beach.

The hotel is walking distance from Alona beach. So many nearby restaurants, massage places, groceries, Oceanjet ticketing office. They have friendly staff too. They were able to accommodate all of our requests like renting a scooter.

You can hear the noise from the nearby rooms! Like you can almost hear what they’re talking about and what they’re doing!

We were actually very sad we could stay here longer!

We were actually very sad we could stay here longer! This was our first choice in alona beach but unfortunately was only available for one of the nights of booking - we had spent all day and evening out so only slept in the room but it was very nice, very big(four poster bed!) and clean. I recommend.

Decent accommodation for the price

The aesthetic is quite nice, the room size is decent, ok shower and we always had hot water. The guesthouse pays for trikes to and from town from 6-10pm which is a great touch. It's only a 10 minute walk to the beach but it's nice to not walk back at night. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked.

Bring earplugs, this place is very loud. Between karaoke blasts, the roosters and daily life in the houses behind the guesthouse I genuinely wouldn't have slept without them. There's also no atmosphere at the place so i wouldn't recommend it for solo travellers or people who want to meet other travellers.
